It has no clinically proven sensitivity ingredient. The only product that works for sensitivity is the Crest Clinical Sensitivity Tootpaste, which has the maximum amount of the only actual ingredient for sensitive teeth. This one is worthless.

One problem with this toothpaste....

Despite the poor rating I have given - we do like this toothpaste with one BIG exception. The cap on the tube does not stay closed and the toothpaste leaks out and makes a nasty, sticky mess on the countertop or in the drawer. We actually bought 3 tubes and the same thing happens to all three.

Since you’re having leaking, you may try to snap the flip-cap closed and twist off the cap to dispense and then twist it back on. Be assured I'm sharing your review with our package team. greatest sensative toothpaste EVER

I have very sensative teeth, and I used to use Sensodyne. I didn't like it because it didn't clean my mouth. Even after I brushed my teeth, my mouth still felt and tasted "yucky". I felt I had no alternative because it did help my teeth. Then I saw Crest ProHealth for sensative teeth and I decided to try it. MY GOD! What a difference! My mouth feels clean and fresh, and my teeth aren't as sensative. Now everytime I go to the store, I buy a tube. I refuse to ever run out and have to use something else. I really love this toothpaste.

I recently purchased my first tube of Sensitive Shield after using Crest products all my life. This is horrible. It has no sudsing effect at all and turns to water or becomes non-existent after a couple of swipes on your teeth. I have to refill my toothbrush two times before my teeth feel clean (fortunately that means it is going fast). It dissolves as soon as it touches your wet toothbrush. Absolutely will not purchase again or recommend.

I have used the original Formula Crest Sensitivity Soothing Whitening Mint toothpaste for several years and was very happy with the product. Unfortunately, now I am unable to find this product anywhere so I ended up buying the Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield Smooth Mint toothpaste. YUCK!

Worst cap on container I have ever used

We have used Crest products most of our life. The toothpaste is great, but my husband has asked me not to buy pro health anymore. The cap is the worst I have ever used. It does not stay shut. The more you use it the worst it gets. It opens easily and breaks off even more easily. We have had to clean toothpaste from all over our drawer. It is even worse if you pack it, with toothpaste landing all over the suitcase. We would gladly buy the toothpaste if the cap was changed and made more stable.

I bought Crest Pro-Health Sensitive Shield because my regular toothpaste (Crest Sensitivity) was not on the shelf. Pro-Health Sensitive Shield was the most disgusting toothpaste I have ever tried!!! It went straight in the trashcan. I was thinking of trying the Crest Sensitivity, with the new look, in the new box, but decided against it. I didn't want to waste my money on another tube that might go straight in the trash can! Sorry Crest, you lost my business. Please bring back CREST SENSITIVITY in the silver tube! PS. The Email Us on your website does not work.

I tried this paste due to fact i believe crest had a great performance so i bought it and this crest toothpaste waters down and gets really sticky like there is something wrong with its mixture or something and unfortunately i bought 5 packs on great sale at a local market ...but i would go back to my cheap brand of aquafresh with sensitive protection when these run out...if crest remakes this so it wont water down maybe ill reconsider to change paste........

We are huge fans of Crest, especially the tooth paste. However, I am way disappointed with the new Pro-Health Sensitive shield. The toothpaste does have a good flavor, but the paste is very watery in texture. Plus, the cap opening is too wide and doesn't stay closed. This, in combination with the watery texture, allows the product to ooze out all over the counter/cabinet shelf. It also makes it hard to get the amount toothpaste desired on the brush. I will not use this product ever again, even if I get it for free. I need a sensitive toothpaste.
I loved the original Crest sensitve way better. Please continue to make that one.

The product is excellent. I'm 52 yrs old and grew up using Crest toothpastes and have continued to use them even now. The only problem I had was with the last tube purchased. The tube split at the seam, Not sure if you want this on a review, but I do not see any other place for contact information. The lot # is 936356EXPOC11.

The box says "smooth mint" but it tastes like bubblegum, which I do not like. Also, it doesn't do as good a job with sensitivity as Sensodyne or regular Crest Sensitivity toothpaste (silver tube) extra whitening.

I bought this toothpaste because I loved the sample I got at the DDS. Used Arm and Hammer Whitening forever. Loved everything about it until I put it down and it leaked out all over my bathroom drawer. What kind of top does toothpaste come pouring out of??
